This local non-profit organization is looking for a Part-time Office Assistant to work alongside the Office Manager and help in keeping the office running smoothly. This position offers a flexible schedule in a professional office environment and is the ideal place to develop your office management skills.


• Answer phones and provide excellent customer service
• Transfer phone calls to the appropriate staff member when necessary
• Take and distribute accurate messages
• Maintain office filing and storage systems
• Document editing and publishing
• Update social media content on multiple platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Hootsuite, etc.)
• Be an ambassador of the company and promote its values
• Assist in office duties as needed


• High school diploma
• 1 year experience in an office setting
• Time management skills
• Ability to work hard and independently while with a positive attitude
• Proficiency with social media marketing
• Excellent written, verbal, and email communication
• Represent the company professionally
• Maintain good relationships with customers
• Numeracy and literacy skills
• HTML and web design is a plus
